BioTown Biogas is proud to be recognized as a leader in renewable energy creation by Energy Vision in its 17th annual Leadership Awards.
The awards honor key actors in the vanguard of sustainable energy — and this year, recognizes leaders whose anaerobic digester projects advanced the field. BioTown Biogas’ award celebrates BTB’s work to build one of the largest on-farm anaerobic digesters in the world and its contributions toward creating low-carbon renewable natural gas (RNG). The digester processes roughly 400,000 gallons of organic waste per day, produce more than 40 million kWh of renewable power and 3 million gallons of RNG fuel per year.
Awardees are selected by Energy Vision, a non-profit research institute which studies and promotes clean, carbon-free fuels for a sustainable energy future.
